Blanc Mariner

85% Xarel·lo - 15% Chardonnay

Xarel·lo is the main grape used to make Blanc Mariner and is a standard variety in the D.O. Penedès. It blends with a small percentage of Chardonnay. It is a pale-yellow wine with bright green-tinged reflections. On the nose, it is intense with distinct aromas of white fruit - apple and pear – as well as floral notes with spicy undertones. In the mouth it is soft, aromatic and sweet, with a lively acidity and a persistent finish.




Once the grapes enter the cellar, they undergo a short cold maceration to extract their maximum aromatic potential, and this process is followed by static drainage. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures to maximize varietal aromas. Blending takes place once fermentation is complete.


This wine pairs very well with blue cheese, seafood, seafood rice dishes and grilled fish.
